Circa 2000 Modern Chair

This gorgeous piece was a design prototype that never went into production. So it is the only one of its kind. Originally designed and built about twenty years ago, the base is of sturdy, quality construction made of walnut with aluminum feet, a craftsmanship that only Scott Baker of Baker + Hesseldenz can achieve. Baker + Hesseldenz recently re-upholstered the chair in a stunning vinyl which is not grey, not black, and not brown, but something altogether different yet inclusive. We're calling it a gun metal grey. Because the piece is now vintage, there are a very few superficial nicks and scratches. Refinishing is not recommended, but occasional oil to protect the wood and minimize appearance of any such character.
